“Dan Pallotta is the embodiment of authenticity, integrity, courage, and higher calling.” - Deepak Chopra
Dan is widely regarded as the pioneer of multi-day charitable events.
Navigated by Dan’s vision for making a greater impact, AIDSRides and Breast Cancer 3-Days inspired nearly a quarter of a million people to raise more than half a billion dollars, in less than a decade. The magnitude of this achievement is the subject of one of the very first Harvard Business School case studies on social enterprise.

“I'm committed to transforming the way our culture thinks about giving because I believe that philanthropy can change the world." - Dan Pallotta
Dan has given 400+ talks on philanthropy and innovation in 38 states and ten countries.

Host Great Special Events and Raise Money Doing It
Hosting special events is a great way to get the community involved with your United Way AND raise money for your organization. In this session you will discover exactly what you need to do, to hold high return special events that build relationships outside of campaign, raise awareness and understanding of your United Way, and bring in money.

Points to be covered:

- Learn our simple formula for hosting a high-return special event.

- Understand our five essentials for special events.

- Review case studies of other United Ways, large and small, holding successful special events.

- Discuss how Andar/360 can help your United Way track attendees and registrants and hold donor information that is collected.
Workplace Campaign and Beyond - Raising Money Outside of Workplace Campaigns!
It’s a difficult reality: workplace campaigns are on the decline across the country. How can your United Way fill the gap left by campaigns and continue to invest where your community needs it the most? The answer is to look outside of workplace campaigns and diversify your resources.

This session will change how you think about diversifying your United Way’s revenue and show you options for diversifying resources beyond workplace campaigns.

Points to be covered:

- Identifying different types of resources your United Way can tap into.

- Understanding the secret to effectively diversifying your resources.

- Learning how other United Ways are sustainably supporting their work by adding new sources of revenue.

User Group Conference Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I attend the User Group Conference?
The User Group Conference is a live 3-day event jam-packed with moments to educate, train, and inspire members from across your team.

Thousands of nonprofit employees across North America have attended the annual event since going virtual in 2020.

Over three days, your team will gain exposure to Andar/360 training and software best practices and even see the inner workings of peers' Andar/360 databases.

Best of all, the session lineup has topics of interest for all roles in your nonprofit.
When is the 2025 User Group Conference?
Join us live in the virtual conference hall on Tuesday, April 8th, Wednesday, April 9th, and Thursday, April 10th.

Sessions will start in the late morning Eastern Time to accommodate West Coast attendees.

There are breaks between sessions and designated lunch periods.
Why is the conference held virtually?
After taking our annual in-person conference to the virtual landscape in 2020, we saw incredible attendee turnout and significantly improved session satisfaction.

The virtual conference eliminates the need to travel to an in-person conference center, saving both time and money (we're talking thousands saved in travel and hotel costs!).

Our attending organizations are able to invite more team members, and there's greater flexibility to drop in for sessions of interest.

We strive to include many networking opportunities and dedicate time for Q&A with presenters.

Plus, we've added a larger breadth of session topics and more guest speakers.

Best of all, you don't miss a single moment of the conference. Revisit the session recordings anytime, any place.
How do I purchase access to the conference?
Follow the link to purchase your conference pass and complete payment by credit card.
> Purchase Here
If you cannot complete your purchase with a credit card, please contact us to arrange payment by cheque.
> Contact Us
Can I use my United Way's Flexible Credits to pay?
As much as we'd love to accept United Way Worldwide's Event Flexible Credits in exchange for your conference pass, entry to the conference CANNOT be purchased using your United Way Flexible Credits.

We will continue collaborating with United Way Worldwide to see if this can be arranged for future events.
Is the conference recorded?
Yes!

We understand that it's not possible to attend every session live. That's why learning and training sessions are recorded and available for viewing at a later date.

Please note session recordings for the 2025 conference will expire on December 31st, 2025.
How many people from my organization can attend the conference?
We are delighted to invite all your team members to the User Group Conference.

With the purchase of a single conference pass, your entire staff will have access to the 3-day event.
How do I attend the virtual conference?
Tune into the conference from the comfort of your home or office.

All paid and registered organizations will receive instructions on entering the virtual conference environment in mid-March.
How do I know if my organization is registered to attend the event?
Haven't heard word around the office that your organization is attending? Contact us and we will look into it for you.

Where can I find the conference schedule?
The conference schedule is subject to change. Check the top of this webpage for updates to the full 3-day lineup.
Will I have access to the presentation decks and documents presented?
After the live sessions conclude, we will share presentation slide decks and supporting documentation with all conference attendees.
